The aim of the developers and of the owner
of this software piece was to make life easier for translators,
localizers, sw engineers, localization companies and localization
departments in the software industry. The software can NOT protect
you against bad translations, though.
-
NetVenture® QA Tool was developed by Andy
Elkin and Sergei Mouraviev. Special thanks go to Steven Canon
of Sybase, Inc. for his extensive help and beta testing.

Let's talk about marketing (others call it "Mission
statement", but we'd rather be honest.)
- NetVenture is a member of the LinguaNet®
group of companies. The net localizes software, translates documentation
and develops "fine localization tools".
- We are preparing a suite of localization
tools (NetVenture® utilities) for you. There will be no dongles, no
protection, and no closed system ...
- Here are some of the highlights:
- How about a tool for easy transformation
of memories into databases, databases into memories, memories into
dictionaries, Excel® files into memories, etc.?
- A tool for easy "RC file set to
dictionary and memory" conversion?
- A tool for help QA (free on every translator's
desk)?
- NetVenture Catapult® for leveraging
existing translations and pre/postprocessing of resource files (SQL
based database - open for every client like Catalyst®, Visual Studio,
Borland Resource Workshop, etc.)
- How about a "take a Trados® memory
and work in IBM Translation Manager®" (and vice-versa) tool?
- So if you're interested:
- To open up closed environments.
- To bring QA to EVERY level of the localization
process.
- To serve the software industry with
world class localization solutions.
- To get your internal QA budgets down
while boosting the output.
STAY
TUNED!
